What kinds of racist things were the girls saying?? I thought highly of them but not if they are being just flat out rude. #tacky
it took a little while for me to catch what they meant, but they were referring to people as “kwan” and incorporating it into their conversation in any way possible, and after they started making up their own song about kwanzaa I realized they were referring to black people. and as black people would walk by they would say things about them and use “kwan” as the identifier. one of the girls proceeded to keep looking over at me and laughing and making more “kwan” jokes like I was supposed to react. they eventually got up and moved to another area.
Just remember that sometimes, the way you think about a person isn’t the way they actually are.
